Ray's Story

Ray was raised in Raleigh, ND. He grew up with a love for horses and the rodeo.. As Ray got older, he realized that the rodeo life was what he wanted. Later in life Ray would move to his current location in Flasher, ND.

February 24th, 1986 was a day that would change Ray’s life forever. On that day Ray was in a head on collision that almost took his life. After three weeks of being unconscious, Ray finally awoke to find that he had his life, but he had lost all of his vision. Determined to make the best of his situation, Ray started learning how to read Braille and to make the most out of his new life. Because of Ray’s experience in the horse industry, he had some knowledge about repairing saddles and tack. Adding to these skills, Ray started to learn how to braid leather and parachute cord. Ray's goal was to make his own living and not to be dependant on anyone. Soon after that Ray opened his R. R. Supplies. In a converted garage next to his house Ray repairs saddles, makes bridles, saddle bags, all types of dog training equipment, gun holsters and just about anything that can be fashioned from leather, Biothane, nylon or canvas

If you send Ray a pattern, call and describe how you want it made, Ray most likely will give it a shot. If it is something useful and needed you might just have helped Ray create a new item for his ever growing product line.

Give Ray a call... to order his high quality tack products or just to visit...he’s waiting to hear from you!

The phone is usually on Ray's hip and he is quick on the draw. You can expect a cheerful... Howdee...or Larry Garner from Oklahoma will buy you a beer!

(701)597-3568

Ray has challenged Larry on the beer deal. For everyone of you that call and Ray answers with a cheerful ...Howdee, Larry now owes Ray a beer ....... The way things are going, Ray will have enough beer to open a tavern next to his shop!
